About

Tearless Street is built on attitude, freedom, and garments that speak for themselves.

Unearthed in Transylvania. Hand-varnished denim, leather, latex — made in small numbers.

The work

We start from a scene, not a silhouette. Something from a film, something seen on the street, an object that shouldn't be worn. The garment comes after — a classic shape taken apart and put back together wrong on purpose.

Denim is varnished and bleached by hand, so no two pieces come out identical. Leather is cut close to the body. Latex is worn over lace. Nothing here is distressed to look old; it's finished to look like it has been somewhere.

How it's made

Every piece is finished by hand. Some are made start to finish in our studio in Transylvania. Others are produced with workshops we have used for years and trust with the cutting. Runs are small.

That is the reason for the archive: everything we have made is still visible, whether or not it can still be bought.

The house

Tearless Street is run by Crina Ștefanca and Luis Drajan, partners in the work and outside it. The practice runs wider than the collections — casting, performance, image-making — and the clothes carry that back into the wardrobe.
